The Status Area can be seen by dragging upwards on the tab that sits above the text input area. It is hidden by dragging the tab downwards. Morsenger will remember this until you change it.
This window shows the following 5 elements:
- Expanded text from the abbreviations that are saved into the bubbles.
- Abbreviated text derived directly from the morse symbols. Typically abbreviations like 'CQ' would appear here and be expanded in "Calling".
- A graph of the extracted DOT/DASH morse symbols.
- A graph of the filtered and processed bit stream as a squared waveform.
- A graph of the raw data being received from the camera or microphone.
Because Morsenger can receive morse code input from multiple sources simultaneously, you may see more than one Status Area. These appear in an area that scrolls horizontally to automatically show the most recently received data.
